Resolved: Complaint about bad products
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.
I purchased a bag of dark chocolate sea salt kettle-cooked caramel. It was not expired, yet the color of the chocolate was almost white.
It was dry and crumbly.
It looks like it has been sitting for an entire year. I'm very disappointed in this chocolate.

I ate half of my container and it smells like bleach after 88 half of it and I'm hoping to God I'll be okay
My whole picture small ice cream smells like bleach even the ice cream tastes like this even my spoon tastes like bleach salad I would never get this again I'm scared then they get sick or something because of this it smells like chemicals and even one of my spoon and everything I do not recommend this
Upset about New York Style strawberry cheesecake ice cream
Recently purchased the Private Selection New York Style Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream and I dont quite understand why the description of the ice cream is
Strawberries and flaky pieces of crust folded into strawberry cheesecake ice cream
When in fact there was absolutely ZERO flaky crust which is supposed to be like the graham cracker, there was absolutely ZERO in the whole container.
It was just strawberry cheesecake ice cream with a FEW frozen strawberries.
Thats it.
Why put that in the description if there will be zero flaky crust in the container?

My uncle had bought a couple of hams from Private Selections. He gave me the other one, which I made, and it was the saltiest ham I have ever tasted.
Small cuts in my mouth were burning; that's how bad it is. I ate as much as I could, as hungry as I was. If I wasn't that hungry, most likely the whole thing would have gone directly in the garbage. I understand that you have to salt ham, but Jesus Christ, you don't just let it sit in, *** probably was only water and salt.
At least stay away from the Duroc pork boneless Carver uncured ham; that's the one me and my uncle tried. Whew, makes my mouth cringe just thinking about taking a bite of that ham again.

I tried to to eat my little container of ice cream and it smelled like bleach really bad and chemicals and one of my spoon and it smells like bleach on my spoon I have to throw two spoons away because
I'm scared I'm going to get sick or something because my ice cream smells really bad like bleach. It doesn't smell good at all; it tastes like bleach.
I hope I don't get sick from this.
Don't get this ice cream; it's not worth getting sick from. It makes your spoons and your whole house smell like bleach, from me.

Mold on cheese
I purchased Swiss sliced cheese on 6/12/2025 with a best if used by date of 11/15/2025. Today, when I wanted to use the cheese, there is mold on it. Cheese should not be moldy 5 months before the best if used by date.

I bought my brown butter bourbon truffle ice cream at Kroger last week. I have eaten this yummy flavor before.
This time, I noticed VERY few truffle pieces in the ice cream. Very disappointed.
In fact I didnt have any truffles until the third bowl of ice cream!!! I dont know if I will buy this again.

Isn't what happened, is what's going on with this company's product:
Their's pies are totally low quality, made with filling from the can and suppose to be high quality and sold for double and more the regular Kroger brand pies.
It's made w8t2h sweeteners,pie filling from the can(dollar store quality) ans on sale foe 1/2 price all the time,because nobody buys them.
I bought all kinds of their pies(of course on Sale) and all are horrible.
I hope with new health regulations ,private selection will be off the shelf.
Stay away from this gross stuff.

Disappointed
Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream was so good,then it wasn't available, now it's back.But it's terrible . Cookie dough is terrible,chips are big and tasteless and I'm not sure what the ice cream is.Doesnt taste vanilla.

Poor food quality
I had purchased a pizza and wild sockeye smoked salmon. No flavor on either one.
Will no longer purchase any of private selection brand foods. Very disgusting taste, if you get a taste.
Tye salmon says it was smoked but there is no any kind of flavor hinting smoked. The pizza was a margarita with no sauce and maybe about 3 peppers and 1 black olives cut up on a 12 inch pizza, also no cheese.

I am very unhappy with the new packaging of this ice cream. The two-part lid is awful.
It is difficult to open. Once the strip is peeled away, the small lid is very hard to manage. It is very difficult to open the ice cream.
Twice the lid has ripped when I am opening it and the ice cream dried out and was not edible. Please return to your former one-piece lid.
